Buonconvento

Described as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and ‘a gem cherishing centuries of history’ (visittuscany.com), the small medieval town of Buonconvento nestles where the Rivers Arbia and Ombrone converge.  The name comes from the Latin “bonus conventus” which means “happy place.”

The flat, pedestrianised town centre is home to wonderful bars, cafés and gelaterie.
